Little awarded by Virginia Press Association

Samuel Little, creative director of the Chesterfield Observer was awarded eight certificates in the Virginia Press Association’s annual advertising contest. Little is also president of Samuel Little Graphic Design, locally owned and operated in Chesterfield County, Virginia. Samuel Little Graphic Design specializes in marketing and advertising for small to medium size businesses through print, website development and other marketing and advertising sources and medias. The Observer competed against weekly newspapers from around the state with circulations greater than 10,000. Little’s eight winning entries include:

  • Second place in the fashion and personal care, b&w category
  • Third place in the non-paid advertising/member self-promotion, b&w; fashion and personal care, b&w; and education and churches, b&w categories.
  • Honorable mention in the home and garden, color; holiday/special occasion/event and multiple advertisers, special sections, color; holiday/special occasion/event and multiple advertisers, special sections, b&w; and entertainment and lifestyles, color categories

Samuel Little Graphic Design is contracted by Greg Pearson, publisher of the Chesterfield Observer to produce the weekly newspaper, special section publications, it’s client’s advertisements and supporting marketing materials.

Samuel Little Graphic Design has been in publication layout and design for over 14 years from when it was contracted to produce monthly circulars for Southern States Cooperative, Richmond, Virginia.

Samuel Little Graphic Design has a long standing in providing print design and website development to businesses in the Richmond metro area for soon to be it’s 15th year in business in June of 2010.
